For the day of the dead at Mestizo, we have our Altar of the Dead and our Mole Festival.
Altar of the Dead:
One of the most important elements of Día de Muertos is the altar, elaborate constructions to celebrate those family members who have left the mortal world. The altar usually contains a combination of pagan and religious imagery as well as photos of the deceased and samples of their favourite food, drink or clothing. Come see our very own Altar de Muertos at Mestizo and if there is a special personal you would like to remember, then bring a photograph of them to place on our altar.
